Cham

Cham is a shapeshifter, and can take on many appearences. When they loose thier shifted forms however, they revert to a facsimile of who they used to be. Their skin has become light and nearly colourless, thier eyes loosing definition and becoming orbs centered with a feint ripple of yellow pigmentation. Their hair is an unkempt mess of curls that hues close to blue-black. Their clothes are a part of them, and though their clothes can change each time they revert back, they tend toward an outfit that feels familiar to them: A green bomber jacket, loose fitting grey slacks with a red rope belt, some jewlery, and Crocs.

VIBE

Cham's Vibe is Identity Theft. They leech other people's Vibes, and can take their appearence and voice for their own. When they take on another's appearence they also get a limited emotional projection, able to tell how the person they stole from was feeling at the time.

Dance Style: Cham uses an Ecstatic dance style. Because of their connection and passion for martial arts, part of this tends to mimic elements of Capoeira

Afterimage
Cham looses a litte of themselves to their Vibe constantly, but they gain elements of the people they copy. When Cham gets emotional, or if they focus, they can temporerally recall vague features and colours from other people. This usually manifests as changes such as flaring hair colour, blemishes, and skin tones that emphisise feelings based on who the features are from. Someone who was angry when Cham copied them might have had blonde hair, so anger makes parts of Cham's hair flash blonde.

Vibe Rip
As long as a character remains within 30 feet of Cham, Cham can pull what they call a Vibe Rip. They can expend their own Vibe energy to perform a feat or ability that the Vibe user they ripped from could produce. Ripping a Vibe comes with a fraction of the physical memory of how to use it in that instant, but does not guarantee success with it. A Vibe that has been Ripped by Cham is never as powerful as it would be in the hands of it's orignal user. When Cham Rips a Vibe, they must spend additional Vibe energy to achive an effect of equal magnitude. This is one extra energy for a regular STEPer's Vibe, two extra energy for a Boss' Vibe, or three extra energy for a leader's Vibe. For example; if Cham wanted to Rip a Boss's vibe, and the boss would usually spend two energy to achive that effect, Cham must spend four.

Vibe Leech
If Cham as access to someone for an extended period of time, they can Leech the Vibe from that person and hold that energy, ready to use even if the person they Leech from is no longer present. As long as Cham has at least one charge of Vibe, they can attempt to Leech another STEPer's Vibe. After spending five minutes in the presence of another STEPer (whether they know or not), roll 2D6. On an 11+, Cham converts as many charges as they choose (up to the amount they have) of Vibe energy into Leeched Vibe energy. On a failure they can either: Leech the Vibe energy anyway but the person being Leeched from notices and can immediatly identify Cham as the Leech, or Leech only half the Vibe energy (rounding down). As long as Cham has at least one point of Leeched Vibe energy, they can expend it as normal to copy the Vibe of the STEPer they Leeched from. For every additional 5 minutes Cham spends in the presence of the STEPer they are Leeching from, reduce the difficulty of this check by 1 (to a minimum of 6). Whilst holding the Leeched Vibe, Cham can generate their own Vibe energy, but only up to an amount equal to the difference betwwen their Leeched Vibe energy and their total. For example: If Cham currently has 3 Leeched Vibe energy, they can generate a maximum of 2 of their own Vibe Energy.

Cham finds it difficult to hold onto the Leeched Vibe energy, as it struggles to escape the wrong body. For each hour after the first that Cham holds onto the Leeched energy, roll 2D6. On a 6+ they retain the energy, on a failure they loose one charge of it. On each subsequent attempt at holding onto the same instance of the Leeched Vibe, increase the difficulty by 2. Once Cham has lost or expended the last point of Leeched Energy, they can no longer use that Vibe until they Rip or Leech that Vibe again.

Cham can only hold one Leeched Vibe at a time, no matter how much of their own Vibe energy they have free. Each time Cham Leeches a Vibe, they loose all previously held Leeched Vibe energy.

Shapeshifter
Cham can change their appearence and voice to match that of anyone they steal the Vibe of. When Cham Rips a Vibe, or Leeches a Vibe, they can choose to change their appearence and voice to be a perfect copy of the person they stole from. In addition, they learn the surface emotions of the person they stole from. This change lasts for a minimum of one hour, unless Cham chooses to end it early. After the first hour, roll 2D6. On a 8+ the effect lasts an additional 30 minutes. If Cham has at least one charge of Leeched Vibe energy, they can choose to loose one charge of that Leeched Vibe energy to automatically pass this test. Whilst disguesed in this way, Cham is indistinguishable from the person they are copying in both appearence and voice, except to those who are intimately familliar with the person being copied.

Soul-Dive
Cham's most time consuming and difficult Vibe ability. By expending 5 of their own Vibe energy, Cham can touch someone and dive deeper into their mind or soul in an attempt to imprint recent thoughts, memories, or emotions onto Cham's psyche. Upon using this ability, roll 2D6. On a 6+ ask the player who was touched one question, on a 10+ ask two, on a 12 ask 3. The player must answer honestly, from their character's perspective. The questions must relate to thoughts, memories, or emotions that the character had experianced in the past two weeks. The questions can only be about the thoughts, memories and emotions of the character who was touched: if asked about the thoughts, memories, or emotions of another character then the player being questioned is encourgaed to give an extremly biased and potentially completly unhelpful answer. Whether or not Cham is successful, Cham's memory is slighty corrupted.
